      Hi Harvey,

I have tried your clip and it seems to work just fine. I previously wrote
a clip like this during the first week of April and posted my upgrades for
it on the web but no one responded so I dropped it. I hate to sound so
lazy but I have run the UUEncode and DECode clips many times and they have
worked perfectly as far as I can tell. I have also run comparisons using
Examdiff and it shows no differences in the original file and the restored
file so I think that it works ok and there is no need to write another clip
      for this function.

Here is an example of a clip that I wrote for saving files or moving them
to the same folder as that being used by the quick list display.

To decode a clip that has been UUEncoded:

      1. Select/Highlight all of the encoded clip starting with the line that
begins with "begin 600" to and including the ending lines "end".

      2. Copy this code and paste it into a new document. Make sure that there
is nothing - neither text nor blank lines - before the "begin 600" line and
nothing after the "end" line. Then use the "UUDecode Text" clip to decode it.

      3. Select/Highlight all of the decoded clip.

      4. Open the clipbook library and select the clip just above where you want
      to insert the decoded clip.

      5. Right click on this clip and select "Add from Document"

      6. Enter the name you want for the clip unless you already see it in the
dialog box and click ok to add it.
