Alan W., Alan C., Jody and the rest,

Well, this might be the solution... Food for during the holidays...

The following clip sets all values in the ini-file to 0. Apparently
you don't need ProgINISave here... I never fiddled with INI files,
but this opens up new territories. Thank you Alan for lighting the
      bulb.

      Reset all SearchDisk options
      ----------------------------

      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:SearchSubDir=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:Backup=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:Confirm=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:MatchCase=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:WholeWord=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:RegExp=0
      ^!SaveValue SearchFiles:SearchHidden=0
      ^!INFO SearchSubDir: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:SearchSubDir)$^PBackup:
      ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:Backup)$^PConfirm: ^$GetValue
      (SearchFiles:Confirm)$^PMatchCase: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:MatchCase)
      $^PWholeWord: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:WholeWord)$^PRegExp: ^$GetValue
      (SearchFiles:RegExp)$^PSearchHidden: ^$GetValue
      (SearchFiles:SearchHidden)$
      ----------------------------

The following clip is an example of displaying the initial and the
changed settings, using "^!Keyboard CTRL+D &100 ALT+H etc". The trick
is to use ProgINISave immediately after the changing of the state. If
you then check for the INI values, you will get the new ones.

      SearchDisk Options
      ------------------

      ^!Select ALL
      ^%NL%SearchDisk Options when clip started
      ----------------------------------------
      ALT+S | SearchSubDir: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:SearchSubDir)$
      ALT+O | Confirm: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:Confirm)$
      ALT+C | MatchCase: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:MatchCase)$
      ALT+W | WholeWord: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:WholeWord)$ (Not with
      RegExp)
      ALT+X | RegExp: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:RegExp)$
      ALT+H | SearchHidden: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:SearchHidden)$
      ALT+K | Backup: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:Backup)$ (Replace Only)
      ----------------------------------------
      ^!Save
      ^!Keyboard CTRL+D &100 ALT+H &10 ALT+X &10 ALT+S &10 ALT+O &10 ALT+C
      &10 ESC
      ^!ProgIniSave
      ^%NL%SearchDisk Options when clip ended
      ----------------------------------------
      ALT+S | SearchSubDir: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:SearchSubDir)$
      ALT+O | Confirm: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:Confirm)$
      ALT+C | MatchCase: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:MatchCase)$
      ALT+W | WholeWord: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:WholeWord)$ (Not with
      RegExp)
      ALT+X | RegExp: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:RegExp)$
      ALT+H | SearchHidden: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:SearchHidden)$
      ALT+K | Backup: ^$GetValue(SearchFiles:Backup)$ (Replace Only)
      ========================================

Note that there may be some wrapped lines, you know where to find
      them...

      Happy Holidays
