  • My last guess would be to try logging in with the email listed in your signature since that what it shows as your email coming from. • Try your username@^$1 and see if that works. That's assuming that you were using a regular yahoo account to access the groups. Mick Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints! • I didn't see where Sheri asked that Facebook become a part of NoteTab or asked that everyone join up. She simply asked that if folks would be so kind as to support a cause that's obviously dear to her, she'd appreciate it. I'm sure that's why she placed it here on the Off Topic list. :) Social media is here to stay and will be an integral part of the online world as it moves...

  • I'm looking for a decent file/folder synch program that will check a folder (& all subfolders) and check to see that all the files are the same and add/update any that need be. Basically, it's being used with thumb drives and certain folders on a hard drive. So, what do you use for this task? Of course, free is great but I don't mind paying if it's actually worth it. Mick

  • I'd also agree with both Axel and Mike, includes are the only way to go. Personally, I use PHP. I get the basic layout/design done and then "break out" the individual modules of the page into their respective files. Header, menu, side info section, content section, etc. and then use includes to put everything together for each individual page. However, when you're talking hundreds...

  • Running an FTP or webserver is something that should only be done through a hardware firewall and with numerous defensive shields to your machine in place. Allowing that kind of access is just begging for problems and folks attacking you. Again, just my opinion and YMMV.
