Can't you just de-register the offender - I see you use Chaptcha to stop machine registrations, shouldn't these two measures stop your problem ?

Unfortunately Wordpress has neither a Usenet group nor even a mailing
list und Web fora are totally out of the question, so what am I to do,
but bother you nice people?
A net of spambots has found my blog <http://blog.berger-odenthal.de/>
and is filling my comments with trackbacks. I have not found any way to
block those (comments as such are only accepted from registered users).
Is there one or do I have to keep deleting a dozen per day?

See <http://blog.berger-odenthal.de/wordpress/?p=361> for new examples.
Interestingly it's only that one post, that's targeted.

Settings-->Discussion has "Allow link notifications from other blogs
(pingbacks and trackbacks.)" and what's more this can also be
individually disabled for single articles, which is what I've done now.
I'll now delete all trackbacks but one, which shall remain as a sample
for a couple of days.
