      First, there's the cost of the new card, about $55 US (dual vga
      w/3DForce MX4000). Then there's the fact that you'll have to clear
      enough space on your physical desktop to accommodate a second
      monitor, and you'll lose the excuse to recycle that slightly older,
      slightly smaller monitor that you just replaced. As for your onscreen
      desktop, it will now have twice as much space to clutter up with
      links, new downloads, etc., and you will have to decide what
      resolution is comfortable on two screens.

      And, if all that isn't enough to deter you, be warned: You will
      probably never again be happy working with a single-monitor system.
