      I use two methods myself.

The first is to rewrite the clips so that no long
lines are needed in the first place.

The second is to adjust the setting in my own email
program for how long lines can be without being
wrapped. This is the usual cause of long lines
being wrapped. I've sent email to other mailing
lists (and to usenet newsgroups) that contained
very long lines, and the lines were not split.

I do not know if YahooGroups will split long lines
or not, so out of curiosity I am doing this test.

I received your long line as a long line in Eudora.

I have replied with Word Wrap OFF in Eudora and although Eudora is wrapping it to the width of the Eudora Display Window it still acts like a long line just as this sentence does. :-)

We will see how it looks when I get it back.

Just as Stephen suggested, Waynes long line came back to me as a long line and my long sentence was word wrapped somewhere along the way. Must be the spaces.

That's how Eudora did it for me.

For those who did not notice. This test failed on the
YahooGroups web interface, which appended a slash to
the end of each line after wrapping it. So we still
have to worry about posting clips with long lines.

Regarding Jim's messages, his long line (with spaces) was
not wrapped in the YahooGroups email I received. It was
only wrapped on the web page.

Those who care about their email software wrapping long
lines should disable the feature, or set it to a very
long line length. I have Agent set to wrap lines at
999 characters. I do not know off hand where to find
the setting in other email programs.

                Hi Everyone,

This is a clip I built to overcome long line wrapping. Give it a try,
you may like it and you won't have to worry about email line wrapping
                any more.

Some of the clips I've seen and written have lines nearing 6,000
characters, this clip takes care of lengths like that.

There are only 2 lines in this clip you should have to worry about.

They like to hide this setting, it seems, and you have to really be
                    persistant to find it.

I can usually just spot the error now, but I don't know, one line of 6000

You use the Source view at yahoo to get the message as it was sent. In Eudora under sending mail, keep Word Wrap unchecked and you will not be sending wrapped lines. I think some eMail clients can wrap incoming mail by option or forced.

                        Hi group,

One of the things I've learned to love is the ability to bounce spam. That
makes the return addressee (if such a creature actually exists) thinks the
                        message did not make it.
However I just almost accidentally bounced a message from Don to the NTB
                        group.
Question, what happens if I accidentally bounce a message back to one of the
lists. Do I get booted off or what?

                          Hi Stephen,

If I am awake as in alert, I do not allow it to get posted if you
are not using your address for the From:/Replyto: field. If it
does have your return in it and goes to the list, you might get a
bunch of red hot nasty eMails. I have no control over that.
