      Hi,

      Yes, and Yes.

      1) Put ftpd in /bin (make sure it is executable)
      2) Copy the line from romfs/etc/inetd.conf to /etc/inetd.conf that
      covers ftpd.
      3) Restart inetd by using the script in /etc/rc.d

      Then, try to ftp to your box using one of your open accounts (e.g. root).
