After applying 3.17 (otherwise) successfully, changes on the LAN page of
web admin are no longer saved. A blank page results from clicking
'Save'.

This is likely related to or identical to bug #86

I have just returned from a week away to find my sSlug is doing the
same as this error report. It has defaulted to 192.168.1.77 and
when I log in I get a an error message saying Error: Fail to get
samba information.

I was running 3.17, I have tried going to 3.18 and also reverting to
the stock linksys firmware but teh error persists.

Please help,
Whats happend? it was all working fine before I left.

+ SysConf area was possibly pooched.

This workaround was successful:
+ - enter Maintenance Mode in 3.17-beta web admin
- flash Linksys R25
+ firmware
- use 'reset to default configuration' in web admin
-
+ manually re-enter settings in web admin as desired
- start Unslung
+ firmware install process from scratch
- re-install and configure
+ packages (argh)
