Nobody has been able to reproduce this on the Unslung 2.x series of
alpha firmware. So we won't bother trying to fix this until someone
does reproduce it under Unslung 2.x (which will go into beta with a
binary firmware image available as soon as we get 10 more alpha testers
      building it from source).

+ I tried disk-disk backup on a set of virgin disks with a few 128M
+ files in the data directory under several cases of UNSLUNG-2.7alpha:

      + 1) -able firmware, pre-unsling, worked
      2) -able firmware, unsling,
      + worked
      3) standard firmware, pre-unsling, worked
      4) standard firmware,
      + unsling, worked

All cases were attempted 3 times (each).

+ Several hours of investigation with versions 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x
+ versions of unslung, running both unslung and not unslung all point to
        + the same conclusion.
The Disk1 to Disk2 backup funscion uses the
+ drive_backup program. This program segfaults when copying a symlink.
+ This is not an unslung problem, but exists with the linksys built 1.x
+ kernel and stock /usr/sbin/drive_backup program.
        The problem becomes
+ apparent after unslinging, and doing and ipkg install busybox, because
+ busybox in /opt/bin includes many symlinks. Copying /opt to
+ /share/hdd/data causes drive_backup to segfault when copying the data
+ drive when copying the first symlink.
        The reason 'dd if=/dev/sda2
+ of=/ev/sdb2' seems to fix the problem is that once the symlinks are
+ there, it no longer needs to copy them, so the error does not occur
+ until another symlink is installed.
This is not an unslung problem.
