      How are you powering this drive.
      I noticed that the drive spec shows that the power for the drive is
      taken from the USB port. This type of drive will not work properly
      when plugged into the NSLU2 unless you can power it externally in some
      way. This is due to a very low current limit with the USB port. I
      think that some NSLU2 users are successfully using this type of drive by
      using a powered hub.

      The drive spec does state that an optional cable is available for the
      few computers that limit bus power. I think that you may need this
      cable and something to plug it into that can supply adequate power such
      as a powered hub.

        Hi Tomas,

        Thank you for contacting Linksys® Technical Support. I do apologize for the late reply.

        It is good to know that the beta firmware resolved the issue with the NSLU2 you have. Since this is still a beta file, we will wait for our Product Engineers to officially release it to the public.

        Thus, I will forward this recommendation of yours so they will have immediate action regarding the early release of this file and be included in our official website.

        Since you do not have technical concerns already, I will close this case then. After this case is closed, a survey will be sent. You can also give out comments and suggestions on the survey to directly let Linksys know about this.

        In which test is it slower?
