Re: [nslu2-linux] Slow share on WD USB2 disc
Could it be that i have too much running on my NSLU2?
I have unslung to a 1gb usb flash and running Unslung 6.8 beta with ftp, smb, ssh and upnp.
The SO_SNDBUF got everything a small bit quicker, but still it is crap.

just search this mailing list (or google) for "async" or "SO_SNDBUF", this
should get you to one of the threads dealing with slow disc access.

- Linksys will release R76 Beta as an official release within short. Will there be an Unslung 7.x then? Here is one of the replies i got from Linksys>>Hi Tomas,
Thank you for contacting Linksys® Technical Support. I do apologize for the late reply.
It is good to know that the beta firmware resolved the issue with the NSLU2 you have. Since this is still a beta file, we will wait for our Product Engineers to officially release it to the public.
Thus, I will forward this recommendation of yours so they will have immediate action regarding the early release of this file and be included in our official website.
Since you do not have technical concerns already, I will close this case then. After this case is closed, a survey will be sent. You can also give out comments and suggestions on the survey to directly let Linksys know about this.
