The highest observed throughput on a PC is about 30MB/s, and it requires
using the usb ioctls directly, in order to have buffer(s) always ready
to receive data. No existing utility program does this. Starting and
stopping (copying one buffer from kernel space to user space without
another buffer already *receiving* the next batch of data) severely reduces
the overall rate.
