Anyone notice the loadavg of an idle box is always pegged at 1.00 or
      higher?

      # cat /proc/loadavg
      1.08 1.00 0.86 1/20 491

I'm running unslung 1.11b, don't really want to go back to V25 factory
just to compare loadavg. I've killed everything (nfs, inetd, smb,
etc) except my running telnetd just to see if there was anything funky
with certain services. Can anyone confirm and explain? I'm going to
boot my other unslung slug with serial port w/o HDD attached and
compare and will report in another message.

Just scoured the nslu2 irc logs and found out that it's related to the
high rate of ethernet interrupts per sec:

Where, then, they found out that it's the normal behavior of the
        ethernet driver:

        :( YUCKY!

Pardon my ignorance, is there a package including some performance tools such as top built for the unslung slug ? Cheers de Mark @ 7tronics
