Memory exhausted message on slug, seen on 2.3r25-uNSLUng 1.11 beta ?
- On the above build after 3 transfers of 722MB each (first over ftp,
second two over SMB) to a 160GB Drivestation, the slug was, well
sluggish. The open telnet window showed a message "memory exhausted".
Knew something was amiss when the first ftp run from CD to
Drivestation through slug was about 1.1MB/s throughput, the SMB was
about 800KB/s, and the second SMB run (with the same image file on
disk not from CD) was down to about 400kB/s.
Was running nothing more than the ftpd from the Snapgear build posted
here and of course the unslung image. Couldn't telnet in, but tebooted
from web interface with no problems.
? Anyone else seen this ?
? What tools would anyone suggest I run on the slug to help isolate
cause of what seems to be a "memory leak" ?
Don't see top or vmstat avail - has anyone built them for the slug ?
