      Subject: [nslu2-linux] CGI Script refuses to change file group

      I have this cgi script I run to change the contents of a web page....I have setup the simple home website using httpd on unslung 6.8

      Now this script does work if I run it from a root console.  I have found sed changes the owner and group both to root so I have to try and change it back.  When I run it from a webpage it refruses to change the group permission.  It does change the file owner permission.

      any clues ?

      #!/bin/bash
      # Environment Variable
      sed -i s/Alarm/Acknowledge d/ /website/Aquarium. html
      chown admin /website/Aquarium. html
      chgrp everyone /website/Aquarium. html
      echo "Location:
      http://rjconway. homeip.net/ Aquarium. html"
      exit 0
      cheers
