      Hi,

      I have a problem when I make a non-privileged account with adduser.

It makes the account fine and all is well until I reboot the slug.
After a reboot, I can no longer login with the non-privileged account.

When I check passwd, the hash has been replaced with an "x"

      lobster:x:503:100:Linux User,,,:/home/lobster:/bin/bash

This is annoying .. can anyone provide some insight?

Here is an excerpt from /var/log/messages
The failed loging area a result of the "x" hash. Then I enabled
telnet and came in as root. What is the deal with the shadow error?
