      I can't get unsling disk2 to work!

This is what i've done so far:

Flashed the NSLU2 with unslung 6.8 BETA from 5.5 and was going to format my 512 memorystick,
but it says Not Formatted every time i try. Ok, this is how i did it:

I connected the stick to my windows computer and formated it to Fat32, then i connected it to the NSLU2
And started the format disk 2 from http://192.168.1.77 and it took sometime and Not Formatted came up.

To be sure, I tried unsling disk2, but that only gave Error: /share/flash/data (disk2, /dev/sda1) is not a mounted disk
Ok, so i tried format it to fat, didn't help and then ext3 from my linux work station, didn't help either.

fdisk -l /dev/sda gave me this on the nslu2:

      # fdisk -l /dev/sda
      #

Nothing, then i connected it to my linux work station and tried the same thing there:

      debian:~# fdisk -l /dev/sda

      Disk /dev/sda: 524 MB, 524288000 bytes
      34 heads, 61 sectors/track, 493 cylinders
      Units = cylinders of 2074 * 512 = 1061888 bytes

Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
      /dev/sda1               1         765      793274+  83  Linux
      /dev/sda2             766         888      127551   83  Linux
      /dev/sda3             889        1011      127551   82  Linux swap / Solaris
      debian:~#

So i started look into the logs, dmesg gave me this when i connected the stick to nslu2:

hub.c: new USB device 00:01.2-2, assigned address 6

When i started format, these processes came up with ps aux:

       2494         root       1964   S   utility.cgi
       2510         root       1920   S   sh -c /sbin/fdisk /dev/sda 2>/dev/null
       2511         root       1276   S   /sbin/fdisk /dev/sda

      10 seconds later:

       2515         root       1920   S   sh -c /sbin/mkswap /dev/sda3 2>/dev/null
       2516         root       1928   D   /sbin/mkswap /dev/sda3

      40 seconds later:

       2569         root       1920   S   sh -c /etc/rc.d/rc.samba >/dev/null 2>&1
       2570         root       1920   S   /bin/sh /etc/rc.d/rc.samba
       2581         root       1912   S   sleep 2

      5 seconds later:

       2584         root       6136   S   /usr/sbin/smbd -D
       2586         root       6136   S   /usr/sbin/smbd -D
       2587         root       4816   S   /usr/sbin/nmbd -D

Then it stopped. I also checked /var/tmp/fdisk file, it showed this:
      1,764,83
      765,123,83
      888,0,82

So i checked dmesg again after the format:

And this memorystick worked great with unslung 5.5, was up running for 6months, and when i try using it on my windows box
i can copy and delete, so the stick is working.

I've also tried the same process on Disk1, nothing:/
