      Thanks for the quick response - I already tried that, same result, it
      starts installing the r52 then goes off and gets the latest one...

        I just tried:
        # ipkg -nodeps install ./zd1211_r52-r4_ixp4xxbe.ipk
        and it still does the same.

        Hi,i know it s a dirty way to do it, but you could try it anyway:ar -x zd1211-*.ipk tar -xvzf data.tar.gz -C /tmp insmod /tmp/lib/modules/`uname

          i know it's a dirty way to do it, but you could try it anyway:

          ar -x zd1211-*.ipk
          tar -xvzf data.tar.gz -C /tmp
          insmod /tmp/lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/net/zd1211.ko

          If it works, you can put the .ko in /lib/modules/`uname
          -r`/kernel/drivers/net/
