      Yes the package works great. Not sure what your test method is but you only
      have to do the following to test -

      date --date="Mar 11 15:00:00 UTC 2007"

      If it reads EDT (or your local zone daylight savings) then it is working.

      Sun Mar 11 11:00:00 EDT 2007
