      Hi ,
      Still struggling with this nslu2
Ive used turnup memstick and looks like optware install.
      I followed exactly
      http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/SlugOS/InstallandTurnupABasicSlugOSSystem
everything seems to be running from sda2 but something strange, I couldn't run opkg update as it
pointed to a non-existent repo directory
after installing optware I could use both ipke update and opkg update,
ikpg update had the later packages which I used

However, I find that /opt/etc/init.d is empty and it seem to be using /etc/init.d that where the
sym links from /etc/rc3.d are pointing
      /opt/etc/rc3.d does not exit
If I'm booting off /dev/sda2 should all the config files be in /opt/etc ????
and where should initrd be ????
I was always under the impression if you booted off a mem stick or other USB device , the whole
file system in use would be on that device.
      Thanks
