Subject: Cannot get Slimserver 6.5.1 working

      Hello,

I've just spent a few hours getting my NSLU2 'unslung' and all went
fine, and I am now using 'V2.3R63-uNSLUng-6.8-beta'

I then attempted to install Slimserver 6.5.1 using the instructions at
      http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Applications/SlimServer

Again all went well, and if I start slimserver I get:-
'Starting SlimServerSlimserver daemon started OK. PID is xxx'

Problem is it's not started. My slimsever log is below. I've scanned the
web and can't find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated as
I want to get this working BEFORE buying a squeezebox!

      Slimserver.log:-

      Many thanks.

        Hi,

I am having the exact same issue.
Doing a ps shows apparently three (!) instances of mysql running, but
still this same error in the slim server log.
Did you manage to fix this Chris?

        thanks
        Richard
