      Maybe a bit late to reply, but I just got the same problem. The only
      tool I found who could "see" my lost files was Stellar Phoenix
      Recovery for Linux (runs under Windows). I tried their demo version
      (no actual recovery of the files) but it listed me what seemed like
      all my missing files.
