      Thanks, Greg!

Would you happen to know where I could find step-by-step instructions
on how to install TxtPrint in NTP 4.95. I'm afraid it's not enough to
tell me to just put it in my clipbook, or something like that. I
wouldn't have a clue how to do that.

I need instructions more on the "Complete Idiot" level, along the
lines of "First move your mouse cursor over to the button with the
picture of the frammazhat on it, then click the left mouse button, etc."

I'm afraid that I'm now running v5. It has no reference to TxtPrint
in Help, only the more sophisticated shareware Fineprint, but I recall
that 4.95 did, so it might have better guidance than I can provide.

For example, I have a vague recollection that 4.95 could be made to
appear on NoteTab's "Tools" menu, but perhaps I am thinking of some of
the other third-party software. Do take a look at Help, under Third
Party Tools and check what is there, in v4.95, for TxtPrint.

        > etc."

Assuming that there isn't some integration tool built into NoteTab in
the way I recall (I certainly never used a specialised clip to do it),
then TxtPrint still works well superbly as a stand alone program -
It's the way I use it in v5, in spite of its own preview facility!

I just run TxtPrint, load the saved text file into it, use the print
        preview option within TxtPrint.

With the caveats, above, I hope these instructions are detailed
        enough....

Open "My Computer" and navigate to where you would like to install the
        program.
        (I suggest "C:\My Programs")

        Create a new folder there.
(I suggest it is named "TxtPrint".)

Navigate to the folder where you stored the downloaded
        txtprinten10.zip file.

Double-click on it, to reveal the four files in the archive.

Hit CTRL-A to select all the files

Hit CTRL-C to copy them to the clipboard

Navigate to your newly created folder.

Hit CTRL-V to copy them into the new folder.

        TxtPrint is now installed.
(It can be removed simply by deleting its containing folder.)

To make it easier to use, right-drag the file TxtPrint.exe onto a
suitable location on the Start Menu. When you drop it a menu appears.
        Select "Create Shortcut here".

When the program is open, I just drag and drop any file I wish to
print onto its window and then use TxtPrint's Print Preview toolbar
button. Font, header/footer and various paper saving options, are
available from the tabs along the bottom of the window. Print it from
TxtPrint. When you have selected a set of options that you are happy
use the "Save settings" option on the "Edit" menu.

If while previewing you notice something in the file you wish to
change, just switch to NoteTab, amend as required and re-save. Reopen
the print preview in TxtPrint and the changes will be visible, without
the need to reload the file.

        Hope that helps!

          ClueLess,

The following links are available on the 'NoteTab.com' site.

          This first link is to download the TxtPrint program;

          http://notetab.com/ftp/txtprinten10.zip

I'm using NTP V5 but I retained TxtPrint, it offers functionality not
available in the 'Print' function of NoteTab.

I installed TxtPrint into a subfolder of NoteTab, you have to create the
folder and place it there manually.

This second link is to download the clipbook library to use with
          TxtPrint, author unknown.

          http://notetab.com/clipbooks/txtprint.zip

Place this clipbook library into the NoteTab 'libraries' folder. When
you first run one of the included clips you'll be prompted to select the
location(folder) of the TxtPrint program, the location is saved in
          NotePro.ini.

On subsequent uses you shouldn't have to relocate TxtPrint, its location
is already saved in th ini file.

Having done the above I added icons to a personal clipbar so TxtPrint
would be readily available whenever using NoteTab.
