No matter how long I proofread, I never get it
*all* right (not even in English <s>).

I see most of my mistakes, but have some
questions about a few corrections which I'd like
      to share with the list:

(note I say "idiomatic" to mean a word order that
is not strictly compulsory, but nevertheless more
      common, while "arbitrary" indicates an
arbitrarily chosen word order that is in no way
more "common" than any other grammatically
      allowable word order)

Yes, I see that I should have used instead of
eir, and that "alla" must *immediately* follow
it (I thought it could follow it at *any point*).
But you put "vega" at the end (rather than after
      "vil")arbitrarily, right? This seems very
      arbitrary to me... Are

      "Ek vil alla vega"
      and
      "Ek vil vega alla"

both correct (or is one more idiomatic?)?

From you corrections, it looks like you can put
the infinitive at any point after the modal (but
never between a personal pronoun and "all" or
      "marg"). Is this correct?

      > > illr! veiir marga fiska en etr eir alla
      > > eigi.
      >
      > etr eigi alla

Hmmm... now you *do* have a word (eigi) between
the personal pronoun and "all"... The first
correction above indicates an infinitive can
*not* go in-between - but what else can go
      in-between?

      a. Just the word "eigi" (see correction)
      b. any adverbs which refer to "alla":
      " etr (hardly) alla"
(don't know the word for "hardly" yet)
      c. any adverbs at all:
      " etr n alla"

Further, is it *necessary* to place eigi between
the pronoun and "alla"? Is it just idiomatic, or
      completely arbitrary?

      a. " etr eigi alla" ok.
      b. " etr alla eigi" ok?
      c. " etr eigi alla" ok?
