Elsebeth Lavold's exhibit "Knitting Along the Viking Trail" will open
      on Friday the 6th !! Can't wait !

She has donated a pattern "Löding Cap and Neckwarmer"
a Viking Knits design, to be sold in the Museum's gift shop to benefit
the Children's Education fund and general programing.
It's a companion for the wristwarmers in the Nordic Knits booklet. This
pattern will not be available until Friday.

The Museum is also having a room filled with pieces from their
permanent collection. Can't wait to see that either !

        <http://www.nordicmuseum.org/index.php?t=events&c=full&e=421> It is
absolutely wonderful ! If you live anywhere near Seattle it's well worth
the trip. Also included is a room with a collection of museum pieces
including Selbu mittens, Norwegian stockings, Nordic sweaters, a
Danish Nightshirt, Icelandic shawls, and more.
