Effective in the next week or so, the Placer Consolidated Fire
Protection District will be desolved and its district will replaced by
      the Placer County Fire Department.

Placer Consolidated operated four stations in the area north and west
of the City of Auburn. It was a very active district.

Placer County Fire Department contracts with CDF for operations and
includes a large unincorporated area of western Placer County and
      several areas along I-80.

Personnel from Placer Consolidated FPD are being absorbed into CDF.

The long range plans of Placer County is to continue to desolve the
numerous small fire districts in the County and replace them with the
      Placer County Fire Dept.

Another new change is that the Truckee FPD is aborbing the Donner
Summit FPD. That change will occur in June or July.
