      University Student Volunteers in PA Communities
         This report, which is an analysis of interviews of community partners affiliated with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development, highlights the critical role that college and university student volunteers play in many nonprofit organizations across Pennsylvania.


          Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

          Volunteers needed for sixth annual Legs Against Arms 5k
             Philadelphia Physicians for Social Responsibility will sponsor the sixth annual Legs Against Arms 5K at St. Joseph’s University on Sunday, April 29th.
             Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the race and the race starts at 8:30am.  5K Race division includes electronic scoring and race awards. 5K Fun Run/Walk division is non-competitive, self-timed and not eligible for race awards. All runners and walkers who participate on a team are eligible for the Trish McDermott Award for the largest pre-registered team.
