A point of clarity on this meeting. The goal of this meeting is to determine
our contacts for each of the neighborhoods where this program to promote the
Bike Network will take place - Center City, West Philadelphia, Mt Airy &
Manayunk. We will be working through community groups and bicyclists in each
of these neighborhoods to accomplish our community outreach goals. If you
would like to help us, or if you have insight to the community groups
(contacts, a knowledge of who the leaders in the neighborhood are, etc. )
please attend this meeting on Monday, July 10th at 5:30 PM at Vance Hall,
      3733 Spruce Street, room B7.

Please forward this message to other lists.

      Thanks so much.

Subject: Community Outreach for Bicycle Network

On Monday, July 10th at 5:30 PM, the Bicycle Coalition will be holding a
meeting to discuss the creation and implementation of a Philadelphia Bicycle
Network community outreach program. This program, funded by a grant
      provided
by the Bikes Belong Foundation, is intended to educate the public about the
Philadelphia Bicycle Network, as well as promote the network and build a
      stronger constituency for it.

This meeting will take place from 5:30 to approximately 7:00 PM at Vance
Hall, 3733 Spruce Street, room B7.

Thank you very much for your consideration. If you have any questions about
this meeting, please call the Coalition's office at (215) 829-4188.

      Yours truly,

      Jeff Friedman
