Yesterday (Saturday) during lunch, I turned on the mister to see if anything would come to the birdbath, even though it had sprinkled
rain earlier. Luckily I had some bathers and lookers before the rain came. (Not all came down to bathe but stayed in the trees and watched.)
2 Northern Parulas warblers (they come almost daily to the birdbath)
1 each of Black & White, Blue-winged, Blackburnian (female), and Chestnut-sided warblers
Red-eyed vireo and White-eyed vireo
and resident Chickadees, Titmice, Wrens
On 9-18 I had a first of fall Catbird bathing; I had seen one in summer at my old yard on the west side of town, so I suspect they're still breeding over there.
