American pipits - Tallahassee
- While going out to see the broad-billed hummingbird, I noticed a mixed flock of shorebirds in the City holding pond east of the parking lot for Mom and Dad's restaurant on US 27. Returning from seeing the hummer, I stopped to see what was present. There were 2 American pipits, a greater yellowlegs, and 10 killdeer.
On the way home, I also had 3 turkey in a field off Roberts Road.
Monday at Tall Timbers I saw 4 purple martins at the gourds near the bird window. All 3 nuthatch species continue at Tall Timbers.
