Bald Point State Park 11/11/10
- on 11/11/10 there was a Western Kingbird cooperatively hanging out on the wires around the Bald Point State Park main entrance gate on Bald Point Road (also check the barbed wire fence in this same vicinity). Also present yesterday of note were Pine Siskin, Golden Crowned Kinglet, and Piping Plover. The Kingbird was first discovered by John Murphy earlier that morning from the same location. Look for the brown sign stating "Park Entrance 1000 Feet." Bird was between this sign and the entrance gate.
