Cardinals singing and chasing, mockingbirds singing their hearts out, pigeons
strutting, broods of Muscovy ducklings (the anti-uglyduckling?)...yes, it's
definitly the first day of March!

Birded a few spots in Tallahassee today. Many thanks to Fran Rutkovsky for
letting us see the BULLOCK'S ORIOLE - definitly a most pretty bird.

Checked out Lake Ella afterwards, and found a "new county bird" - albit a non-
countable exotic: a GREYLAG GOOSE. Along with the usual suspects, of course.

Looking at the eBird bar-graphs for Leon County, there's a considerable
number of "expected" species for the first week of March that don't have
reports. A few have already been filled in today, but there's a lot more that
haven't. Get out there and find 'em, and then get online and eBird 'em. :-)
