      Barry Aarons

      An acknowledged leader in administration, public policy, telecommunications, public relations and education, Aarons has numerous years of both governmental and corporate experience.

      Currently he is the owner of The Aarons Company, a public policy consulting firm with a diverse portfolio of functions and clients, including a portfolio of corporation and trade association clients for whom he lobbies and provides other public policy services before the Arizona State Legislature and U.S. Congress. He facilitates seminars on a multitude of topics, from public policy to business management and has assisted corporations and trade associations in the creation of their strategic plans as well as writing and managing their speaker bureaus.

      His resume includes 20 years as the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for US West Communications. During that time he took a four-year leave of absence to serve as Special Assistant and Legislative Director for former Arizona Governor Fife Symington.

      Aarons serves as Adjunct Fellow for the Progress and Freedom Foundation and Senior Fellow for Americans for Tax Reform.

      A frequent lecturer in political science at the University of Phoenix and Arizona State University, he has also been an Adjunct Professor in Arizona State University's Political Science Department.

      He has written opinion pieces for AZ Attorney Magazine and the Phoenix Jewish News and recently had a policy report published by the Institute for Policy Innovation.


      Dave Dziok

      Dave Dziok got his start in politics in Rhode Island with Governor Don Carcieri. He joined the Carcieri for Governor campaign as a volunteer and quickly proved himself a valuable asset and was hired as a full time staffer. Dave's work on the campaign helped get a conservative Republican elected to the office of Governor in liberal Rhode Island.

      During the 2004 elections cycle, Dave served as the Political Director for the Duane Sand for Congress campaign in North Dakota. His wealth of campaign knowledge stems from his experience in local as well as federal level races.

      Dave started at the Leadership Institute in July of 2005 as a Grassroots Programs Coordinator.

      Dave Dziok was born and raised in Cumberland, Rhode Island. He studied Political Science and Public Administration and graduated from Elon University in North Carolina.


      Benita Dodd

      Georgia Public Policy Foundation

      Benita M. Dodd is a journalism graduate of Rhodes University in Grahamstown , South Africa , who immigrated to the United States in 1986. The Cobb County resident was an editorial writer and columnist for The Atlanta Journal Editorial Board and an editorial writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Editorial Board before joining the Georgia Public Policy Foundation as vice president on March 17, 2003.



      Bill Meierling

      Bill Meierling got his political start with Congressman Dan Burton (IN-5) where he worked for the House subcommittee on Human Rights and Wellness. While with Congressman Burton, he worked specifically on the human rights issues of Latin America and the Caribbean.

      Bill's willingness to work on Hispanic issues dates back to 1996 when he first became involved in Arnoldo Aleman's presidential race in Nicaragua where he helped develop a network of contacts in the United States that were supporters of the Aleman campaign.

      In 2002 and 2003, Bill worked for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services where he dealt with the Hispanic Media for the public affairs department. He also translated all of Director Ruben King-Shaw's speeches into Spanish.

      During the 2004 election cycle Bill was able to join Larry Diedrich for Congress for both the special and general elections where he worked in grassroots conducting and coordinating GOTV efforts throughout southwest South Dakota.

      With over ten years of graphics experience, Bill also does consulting work on graphic and web design for numerous campaigns and issue groups.
