      Hi,

      The specification states "If multiple icon elements are present within a single contentMeta or partMeta property they MUST represent the same visual content, only differentiated by rendition, contentType or format".

      Sounds like implying that I can't have multiple icons with different dimensions (width, height) or size, which can't possibly be what the editors wanted to express ? Or is it ?

      Best,

        Afaics the above statements are not contradictory; e.g. you could have the following, as per one of our use-cases …

                                                                        <!-- Std Thumb -->

                                                                        <icon residref="tag:reuters.com,2011:binary_GM1DTWXPGTAB-THUMBNAIL" width="300" height="200" rendition="rend:thumbnail"  contenttype="image/jpeg"/>

                                                                        <!-- Square Thumb -->

                                                                        <icon residref="tag:reuters.com,2011:binary_GM1DTWXPGTAB-THUMBNAIL-200X200" width="200" height="200" rendition="rend:thumbnail:200x200"  contenttype="image/jpeg"/>

        … as long as:

        a/ Both the above represent the same content (icon)

        b/ Each icon is disambiguated by rendition (and obviously @residref too).
