      Title: Auditions: TRAIL OF EVIDENCE

      Date: Monday March 9, 2009
      Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Repeats: This event repeats every day until Tuesday March 10, 2009.
Next reminder: The next reminder for this event will be sent in 5 days, 3 minutes.
Location: Bertman House, 11022 SE 37th Ave, Milwaukie, OR
Notes: New Century Players announces auditions for TRAIL OF EVIDENCE, an interactive murder mystery dinner theatre by Rose Richards.

It’s 1851 and everyone is attending the Oregon City Mayor’s Ball. The territory is not completely settled yet and tempers amongst the local leaders are running a little high. John McLoughlin and his mysterious past are only the beginning of the questions that will need to be answered when one of the attendees ends up dead at the party of the season. Directed by Kelley Marchant.

      Dates: 9 and 10 March
      Time: 7 – 9 PM
      Location: NCP offices
      11022 SE 37th Ave
      Milwaukie, OR 97222

No appointment necessary. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and improvisation. Improvisation experience a huge plus! There will be pay. Please bring headshot/resume if available.

Needed: Five men, six women, adults 20 – 70+. Characters include Dr John Mcloughlin, among other historic settlers, and a variety of 1850s era farmers, hotel owners, schoolmarms, and U.S. marshals.

These are the character descriptions from the first draft of TRAIL OF EVIDENCE. The setting is the Mayor's Ball in Oregon City in the early 1850s.

Dr John McLoughlin, mayor of Oregon City
Asa Bristow, prosperous banker from Linn City
Alice Bristow, Asa's slighter younger wife
Owen Pomeroy, a promoter of sorts
      Luther Hayes, Milwaukie store owner
Ferd Colfax, a farmer (may be widow or widower)
      Libby Colfax, Ferd's daughter
Lucinda Singer, Oregon City hotel owner
Mary Foyle, young schoolteacher from the East
Sarah Jane Pomeroy, Owen's wife, presumably
      Joe Meek, U.S. Marshal
