      It would seem that a reflux column filled with alcohol vapor would make quite a BANG if accidentally ignited by static electricity or another random ignition

        It would seem that a reflux column filled with alcohol vapor would make quite a BANG if accidentally ignited by static electricity or another random ignition source, or is all of the oxygen pushed out of the column by the rising vapor?
