Do you own a gun cleaning kit? You can run a brush down it with some heads as solvent and then a few wads with head solvent till clean, finish off with a peroxide sanitizer.. 3-4% solution.. NO taste, NO odor, HARMLESS when diluted to 3%, you must buy food grade 35% use rubber gloves, it will burn you! Dilute.. 1 1/4 Cups to 14 3/4 Cups water = 1 Gal. 3% solution... works better than any sanitizer. All it is , is Hydrogen and Oxygen, H2O2....  Just like Oxyclean only better!

I had a tree step method, first i used a cloth and run it through the pipes soaked in alcohol then i bought a cheap vodka and ran it the still like i was processing vodka, then i made a wash of orange juice with an ABV about 5-10% , then i ran 5 gals of water through the still till the water ran clear. This worked real good for my reflux still. Gene

What sort of flux you talking about? You mean the liquid acid flux which is zinc chloride, or you do mean the resin solder used for circuitry etc? If it's the acid flux you could simply neutralize with baking soda and maybe a good scrub.

make sure that flux is not too rigid. if its too rigid then compresser air can be used as it has more pressure.
