- materials of construction for a still (spirits ) are normally made of stainless steel, copper or sometimes but rarely aluminum due to its corrosion resistance, heat transfer capability, and food safe. metal drums due to pitting and non-corrosion resistance and perhaps toxicity issues are therefore not advisable unless you distill for fuel ethanol or you are using stainless steel drum.--- On Mon, 9/20/10, konvicted_kennels <konvicted_kennels@...> wrote:
