      Yeah, the exhaust grades (ferritic) are, & they rust too when used
      in distilling. The austenitic grades (304 & 316) used for food
      processing & chemical plants are normally non-magnetic & don't
      rust. They may become mildly magnetic when cold worked.
      Copper scrubs CERTAINLY AREN'T magnetic. Those must be copper
      coated steel or iron.
