The issue of copyright is a minefield. Please make sure you have
the copyright owner's permission before posting material. In some
cases it is acceptable to post extracts from articles providing that
a link to the article is also provided. Images and such are usually
owned by someone, but often it is difficult to find the original
owner. Where the owner is known, please get their permission before
      posting.

In the event of a dispute, the copyright owner ALONE has the right
of challenge. Then the group administrators MUST comply with the
copyright owner's request to delete the offending material. What
happens after that between the copyright owner and the poster is NOT
OUR BUSINESS, unless we as administrators are required by law to
deliver up evidence, which does happen some times.

There's a much bigger issue here than just a couple of people doing
silly things. This group is hosted by Yahoo. Yahoo's Terms Of
Service clearly state that all posts belong to the poster, therefore
posters are legally responsible for the content. In the event that
Yahoo becomes aware of a group breaking copyright laws, the poster
WILL be struck off from ALL yahoo services, and the group WILL be
killed off. In a mods group I belong to, it has been reported at
least 10 times so far this year, that a group has been vaporized,
and Yahoo gives NO WARNING OR EXPLANATION!

The bottom line for us is, if in doubt, DON'T. Silly thoughtless
acts like breaching a copyright put this group at real risk. This
is a situation that NOBODY WANTS.

Thank you in anticipation of your cooperation.
