      Hi Peter
      Not shore what you are after.
      Using an alcoholmeter 20% is 20% ethanol
      40% is 40% ethanol.
      This is assuming it has been distilled, as you can't 40% from a wash.
      If it is a wash you can only estimate the ethanol from the start SG to
      the end SG using a hydrometer to measure beer & wine. They are 2
      different hydrometers for 2 different applications.
