      Dear List Members,

      My name is Armando B. Mendes and I�m a PhD student at Technical University
      in Lisbon, Portugal.
      I�m analysing a problem related to forecast annual sales for food retail
      small supermarkets.
      In order to include demographical variables in my descriptive models I must
      delimitate retail trade areas around shops.
      I tried various methods and the more promising one looks like Voronoi
      diagrams. Therefore, I must include store attractivity in de diagram so I�m
      using weighted tessellations. But, the retail trade areas obtained look to
      me too small.
      So, based in the book by Atsuyuki Okabe �Spatial tessellations : concepts
      and applications of Voronoi diagrams� I would like to try second order
      weighted diagrams, i.e., diagrams in which the costumers frequent
      simultaneously two nearby shops (or any tessellation is generated for 2
      points simultaneously the near one and the second near one).

      So, my question is do you know of someone who had developed any software to
      calculate second-order Voronoi weighted diagrams? I would be very thankful
      for any answer.
