On Saturday December 15, 2012 from10am – 2pm, the Community of Glassell Park is hosting the “Chapman Street Wall Vineing Installation Ceremony and the 3rd Annual Fletcher Square Neighborhood (Formerly Drew St & Estara Avenue) Block Party and Resource Fair” to be held at the intersection of 3400 Block of Chapman Street and 3300 Block of Estara Avenue (See attached). This is our final block party event capping off much of the numerous events held this year with this one occurring during the Winter Season.
Many of the FREE City Services available, VDK Innovation Center Community Career Development Center, CHLA, local Educational & Spiritually-Based Resources, and community-based resources will be on hand for the community-at-large. The Northeast LAPD & Cadet Program, Aztecs Rising & Fire Crew, and the LAFD will also be present to provide assistance and information on the various programs available.
FREE Food, refreshments, and Family-Oriented Fun with Traditional Dancing and Entertainment from the local schools and churches in the Neighborhood will make the theme “Unity through Community” a festive and fun-packed day.
