      1.         Welcome and Introductions (7:00 p.m.)
      2          Acceptance/Review of GPNC GCS Mtg. Min. for September 17, 2013. (if provided)

      5.         Neighborhood Council Board Business (7:30 p.m.
                  a.         Instruct Board Member to Comply with LA City Ethics and Open Government
                              (http://ethics.lacity.org/education/ethics2007/?audience=done); completed Certifications to be turned into GPNC Office Mgr.
                  b.         Accept Nominations of up to 10 Alternate Representatives as per “GPNC Standing Rules.”
                  c.         Elect/Select a Government Relations Representative to provide updates/advocate for/represent on behalf of the GPNC regarding action items (if any) to the Council District Offices, when necessary. 
                  d.         Elect/Select a GPNC LA City Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC) “Representative to maintain an “advisory role” on planning policy & comprehensive zoning to protect the interest and integrity of the Community of GP.
                  e.         Motion/Resolution to submit a “Letter in Support (LOS)” of the Elected/Selected GPNC ZAC Representative.
                  f.          Elect/Select a Board of Public Works (BPW) Liaison/Representative in an “advisory role” on BPW policies & practices as it affects the interest and integrity of the Community of GP.
                  g.         Elect/Select a GPNC “Budget Advocate” Liaison in an “advisory role” to further the interest and integrity of the Community of GP.
                  h.         Motion/Resolution to fund up to ($3,500) for “8th Annual Veteran’s Day Parade Event.” (Ruby De Vera)
                  i           Motion/Resolution to fund up to ($500) for “2013 LA Congress of Neighborhoods” Forum/Event.(Art C)
                  j.          Motion/Resolution to request fund up to ($500) for Aztec Rising “Fletcher Square Neighborhood HalloweenFest. (Bradley)
                  k.         Motion/Resolution to Submit a Community Impact Statement (CIS) in Support of CF11-1018, (Request to Direct the (CAO) and Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA) to report back to Council and develop a plan for
                              the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE), the City Attorney, City Administrative Officer the implementation of a system of regional complaint panels composed of board members of various Neighborhood Councils from similar regions that will convene to address stakeholder and board member grievances as-needed, and at the request of the General Manager of DONE. The report should consider guidelines for panel selection, implementation and range of authority.
