wow, it's good to be missed.  I have been trying to put my gardens to bed and then had wood chips dropped that have to be carted and put elsewhere....my gourds did nothing this year just like the rest of my veggie garden except for the potatoes and garlic.  I usually don't start painting gourds until all the outside work is done...now it is the trees that are dropping their leaves...more outside work.

I'll ask Lucille if she will take a picture or two and email to you. Today I'm going to a tractor pull where I donated the Funky chicken for the benifit of our troops. It was made out of one of the tall gourds from you.

Hi Stella, I miss you.   As they say, "a womans work is never done". I ended up with 2 snakes and 7 bananas gourds. I put the plants out late so many babies didn't make it. I didn't think I'd get any so I'm happy I have this many. I've been working like crazy getting ready for the craft sale Nov. 7th.. Do come

wow, it's good to be missed.  I have been trying to put my gardens to bed and then had wood chips dropped that have to be carted and put elsewhere... .my gourds did nothing this year just like the rest of my veggie garden except for the potatoes and garlic.  I usually don't start painting gourds until all the outside work is done...now it is the trees that are dropping their leaves...more outside work.

wow, it's good to be missed.

This is the first Quail I made for my daughter. The base is a pumpkin stem covered with Apoxy Sculpt, also the feet are Apoxy sculp too.  He has glass eyes and the back feathers are carved out. Here goes.

This is the first Quail I made for my daughter. The base is a pumpkin stem covered with Apoxy Sculpt, also the feet are Apoxy sculp too.  He has glass eyes and the back feathers are carved out. Here goes.
