I can't say what is happening in Madison but here in Beaver Dam the weather is terrible. When I woke up this morning I had about 3 - 4 inches of snow. Of course there is a layer of ice underneath that snow. Just to make it interesting, it started snowing again 4 hours ago and the snow keeps coming down heavier and heavier.
Anyway, I won't be at the meeting. If anyone does attend, I need someone to go to the reception desk and sign a room use form for the meeting space. Madison Public Libraries aren't as automated as Fitchburg. I was able to reserve the space by phone, however they wanted a signature as a follow-up. If someone can do this for me, I owe you my thanks.
It will be interesting to see how many members are willing to go out in this weather. I have been a member for over 10 years and cannot remember weather being this bad on a meeting day. I'm 99.9% sure the weather has never been this bad for an April meeting.
I am not canceling the meeting. I don't have the authority and I don't know what the weather is in Madison. If members feel the meeting should be cancelled, respond to this email and we can make a group decision. Unless I send out another message the meeting is happening!
Enjoy the weather! Nothing like a spring day in Wisconsin.

- I was hoping to discuss Mycroft, but I’m not venturing out in this, since it’s still coming down here in Fitchburg. I would vote for rescheduling.Johanna Draper Carlson
