This is to confirm our reservation of your private banquet room for Sunday, January 7, 2018, as noted above. The reservation was made in person on Friday, November 3, through Jay.Our group is known as the Notorious Canary Trainers, and we are a study group dedicated to the Sherlock Holmes stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. We expect approximately 20 people for this event.We found the configuration of tables, as we saw it on our recent visit, to be perfectly satisfactory; and we would particularly wish to maintain a table or two at one end, separate from the dining tables, to be reserved for book displays, etc.While we normally begin our meeting at 1 p.m., we are somewhat concerned about your posted 3 p.m. shutdown. If this represents a hard deadline, the group may wish to begin at 12 or 12:30. Please advise us what would be acceptable to your schedule.We expect all or most of our members to enjoy your excellent buffet; some may wish to order off the menu.
