CREATIVE NATIVES!! NETWORKING AND PROMOTION OPPORTUNITIES!!

(Please forward to anyone you think might be interested. )

If you are a native artist, creating work in any discipline, Neshkinukat* invites you to participate in three great upcoming
      events/ opportunitites.

      They are:

Neshkinukat Native Artists Network, Northern California Gathering 2007, April 20-22, Headlands Institute, Sausalito, CA. A fun workshop style gathering for native artists living in California
working in all medias and disciplines. Lodging, meals and modest travel stipends available. Attendance limited.

Neshkinukat Website Directory. This is an artists' shared site where
you can put a page about your work and contact info on the internet. You don't need to attend gathering to be in the directories.

Neshkinukat Directory. This is a printed directory of native artists
distributed to arts agencies, tribes, and organizations. It includes
the same info as that in the online directory.

All Necessary forms are online and can be download from the
      website at: http://www.neshkinukat.org

      No computer? Got questions?
Contact Caroline Kuali'i, gathering coordinator, at 510.548-2965.

Please share this info with other native artists you know. Thank you.
We look forward to seeing and working with you.

*Neshkinukat is an informal network of American Indian, Alaska Native
and other indigenous artists who live in California.

Neshkinukat is a LuiseƱo word which means "one who has relatives."

These activities made possible by the generous financial support of the Ford Foundation, Indigenous Knowledge and Expressive Culture, Knowledge, Freedom and Creativity.

Gathering cosponsors are American Indian Contemporary Arts and the Clapperstick Institute.
