Congratulations to three SACNISTA scientists who were recently elected as Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), all three in the Section on Biological Sciences:

Laura Jeanne Robles, PhD, Cal State University, Dominguez Hills

Raymond L. Rodriguez, PhD, University of California, Davis

Elba E. Serrano, PhD, New Mexico State University

Huge Honor to be a Fellow

Election as a Fellow is a tremendous honor to AAAS members, chosen by their peers in a rigorous selection process, and is recognition of the Fellow's meritorious efforts to advance science or its applications. In October 2012, the AAAS Council elected 701 members as Fellows; they will be recognized for their contributions to science and technology at the Fellows Forum on February 16, 2013 at the AAAS annual meeting in Boston.
