Obituary: Lyndsay Marie Barrera
- Born Thursday April 21, 1994 and went to Heaven May 25, 2008. She was 14 years old.
Lyndsay traveled many places and had many experiences in her short life. She loved music, belly dancing and art. She played Hoopsters basketball, T-Ball, and volleyball for Freshwater School. She cheerleaded for Eureka A and AA Loggers football-- going to competition. She attended Worthington Head Start and Cutten Elementary School and Freshwater School where she was on the yearbook staff. She was in 8th grade. Lyndsay was a loyal friend and caring, kind young woman. She had an infectious smile and sassy personality that we all love and will miss.
She is survived by her cousin and best friend, Michaela Rebecca Adams. Her loving family- grandparents Louis and Alice Adams Jr.; mom, Theresa Marie Adams; brother, David Louis Adams; her special aunt and friend, Lian Adams; cousin and big brother, Lee Anthony, cousin and big sister, Haley Baby Adams; Christina Lee McGaw and her children; her uncle, Michael Lee Adams; aunts, Alta May Adams and Lydia Barrera (Livingston, CA); sisters, Veronica, Vanessa and Victoria Barrera (Redding, CA); grandparents, Pat Darrow and Lee and Virginia Darrow and family; uncles, John, Tony, Abel; aunts, Kate, Sonya and Gabriela and their families; many cousins and friends, great aunts and uncles; Godparents, David and Laurel Chism and Rhonda Taylor and father Alfonso Q. Barrera (South Dakota). Lindsays friends that survive her are Shelby Brown, Sierra Schoffer, Julianne Moranda, Grace Iverson, Cecilia Koskella, Cody Johnson, Marcus Hill, Ryan Murphy, Shane Caneson, Tessa Scotthorn and many more.
Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Veronica and Alfonso Barrera Sr.; her great aunt, Aleen Sorells; her uncle, Roysel Marshall-Darrow ; great uncle, Harold Vaughn; cousin, Clifford Jay.
